Cheers from Fort Worth

Day one almost complete.  After a night of much needed pain drugs and a little prednisone I awoke feeling great.  The steroid prednisone is fantastic!

After a wait this morning I was finally prepped and taken to have my bone marrow biopsy as well as my metaport inserted. After awaking from the drug induced nap I immediately received my first day of chemo.  Rituxan was my first cocktail

I will receive two more chemo agents in the coming days along with a recovery day attempting to ensure my organs are handling the treatment well.  Our goal is to be out of here by Mondya.

I'm doing great as of now and spirits are strong.  I keep you all posted
